Regulations for 2020 published - time to enjoy Finnish rally roads and collect FRC points
The Finnish Rally Championship is of course open for the drivers having a foreign license. In 2020 FRC will be even more attractive as everybody with a foreign license can now collect FRC points normally.
Finnish Rally Championship will be contested in classes SM1, SM2, SM3 and SM4. There is no obligatory pre-registration for the Championship, but all drivers entered in these classes in each rally, fulfilling the prescriptions as per regulations, are eligible for FRC points.
Any driver with a license given by a foreign ASN must register on 6th January 2020 at the latest in order to be eligible for points. The registred drivers are entitled to a lower entry fee at all events of the Championship.
The Teams’ Championship will be contested in all classes, provided that a minimum of five (5) teams have registered by the end of registration.
Competitors eligible for Points
All drivers holding a license given by an FIA member ASN who have entered the FRC events according to the regulations of the event and the FRC, are eligible for points. Finnish drivers must have a national license of the highest grade.
Registration Fees
Drivers in FRC (Classes SM1-SM3)
- until 6.1.2020 at 19.00 800 Euros (incl. 24% VAT)
Drivers in FRC (Class SM4)
- until 6.1.2020 at 19.00 650 Euros (incl. 24% VAT)
Teams
- until 6.1.2020 at 19.00 300 Euros (incl. 24% VAT)
The registration is valid only after the registration has been entered in to KITI system and the fee has been received in to AKS bank account, IBAN account no. FI90 1454 3000 1039 71. Competitor’s license number must be used as reference.
The drivers’ registration fee covers the safety tracking device fee for the whole season.
FRC Calendar 2020
The FRC consists of six (6) events, three of which are driven in winter and three in summer. Dates and locations in 2020 are as follows:
16.-18.1. Arctic Lapland Rally, Rovaniemi
7.-8.2. SM Vaakuna-Ralli, Mikkeli
28.-29.2. SM Itäralli, Joensuu
12.-13.6. SM O.K. Auto Ralli, Kouvola
4.-5.9. SM Ralli, Oulu
25.-26.9. Pohjanmaa SM-Ralli, Seinäjoki
