17.04.2024 / KMS Racing Press

KMS Racing and 23-year-old Tristan Charpentier compete in the WRC Croatia Rally in WRC3 category. The fourth round of WRC will mark the French driver’s WRC debut.

The official M-Sport partner in Finland, KMS Racing, competes this weekend in the WRC Croatia Rally. Fielding a Ford Fiesta Rally3 for the French talent Tristan Charpentier and co-driver Florian Barral, the pair takes on the highly competitive WRC3 category. WRC Croatia Rally marks the 23-year-old’s WRC debut.

Charpentier and KMS Racing tested two weeks previously in Quattro River Rally in Croatia. Charpentier, who debuted on tarmac with four-wheel-drive, finished the event third in category.

-We were able to test a few things for WRC Croatia, and pace was good during the weekend, especially considering it was my second outing with the car on tarmac. I’m ready for WRC Croatia, we are well prepared, and I can’t wait to make my WRC debut, Charpentier stated.

The 23-year-old Charpentier has considerable experience in racing despite his young age. The Frenchman has been driving single seaters in Europe, United Stated, and Asia, before making a switch to rallying in the middle of last year. First international event followed in March of this year, when Charpentier took on the new challenge of four-wheel-drive car and snowy stages of SM Tuuri Ralli with KMS Racing.

WRC Croatia Rally ajetaan 19.-21.4. Kilpailu sisältää 20 erikoiskoetta ja 283,28 erikoiskoekilpailua.
