Samuli Vuorisalo and Ville Hautamäki in the lead in the two-wheel drive classes
Samuli Vuorisalo, last year´s FRC silver medalist, was in the lead in SM(FRC)3 after day one. When Joonas Lindroos, who was one of the favourites, had to retire due to a technical problem, and Joonas Tokee ended up in a jam on SS4 and went off due to the dusting snow, the fight for the lead was between Vuorisalo and Henri Haapamäki. Vuorisalo held his ground, and Haapamäki finished the day 17 seconds behind him. Matias Kauppinen got up to third with half a minute gap to the lead.
